KTLA, a local news outlet in Los Angeles, reported on Monday that firefighters were working to extinguish a large fire that broke out in hilly areas northwest of Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon. Dramatic footage of a “tornado” at the scene of the fire was captured on camera, the report said.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fire in Gorman, near Old Ridge Road and Lancaster Road, had grown to 150 acres (about 60 hectares) as of 22:00 local time.
At 17 o ‘clock on the same day, a section of the fire scene appeared “fire tornado” dramatic picture, was also captured by the camera down.
More than 200 firefighters responded to the blaze, the report said. Currently, no structures are threatened by the fire, but the section of Highway 138 that passes through the area is closed.
